“We want to make email campaign results available centrally via our customer relationship management system (CRM) using Power BI dashboards,” said the DVV Media Group GmbH. This means that all email marketing key figures are visible directly in one system, eliminating the need for manual transfer.
DVV Media Group GmbH found the right solution for this: export automation turns Inxmail into a professional email channel for the existing ecosystem. It is quick, efficient and requires no programming work on the part of the customer.
DVV Media Group GmbH needed an email marketing software that automatically synchronized data with the customer relationship management system. As with many other companies, processing key figures was previously a laborious task: the most important KPIs, such as registrations and cancellations, click and open rates, as well as dispatch statistics and information, were transferred to the CRM system partially by hand. However, this practice is a potential source of errors and is very time-consuming.
The biggest challenge for DVV Media Group was therefore to automatically synchronize the email data between the systems. This is because newsletter subscriptions and unsubscriptions, for example, can come from different sources. From a technical point of view, this means that a daily comparison between the CRM and Inxmail must be carried out and that recipients must be automatically removed from the list when they unsubscribe. Inxmail provides the ideal solution for this.
The automated export should enable a tool that can display precise industry and product analyses in medium to long-term developments.
In a workshop at the DVV Media Group, internal requirements for a dashboard according to scientific standards were first determined. This was done as part of a bachelor's thesis.
After a detailed consultation with Inxmail consultants, a quick and, above all, practical solution was agreed: export automation would solve the problem for the DVV Media Group. This was a cost-effective solution that required no programming or resource investment on the part of the company. From a technical perspective, the data is now transferred to the CRM via CSV and can thus be systematically processed there.
After sending, all responses such as click rates, registrations and unsubscriptions as well as bounces are now automatically transferred to the CRM. The success of each campaign can then be seen at a glance via dashboards developed separately by DVV Media.
The data supplied by Inxmail is structured, linked and filtered separately. This enables statistics to be cleansed of internal access and compared with data from other sources.
As a result, the CRM can now fully perform its task: customer data is managed here in a central location. The best thing about it is that all this was implemented in the shortest possible time so that the DVV Media Group could quickly get started with the desired settings.
Export Automation enables a 360-degree data flow: relevant data is now automatically synchronized between the CRM and Inxmail. This guarantees data sovereignty for the CRM, as was also desired by the DVV Media Group.
The result can be used across departments to gain insights into email marketing.
