At Mövenpick Wein, the electronic channel is becoming increasingly important – as a sales channel and for customer loyalty measures. A new type of e-mail solution was developed to increase online turnover which makes direct ordering from an e-mail completely easy.
Mövenpick Wein very successfully employs an e-commerce solution which enables online orders from the regular range and of special promotions. Mövenpick Wein already recognised the significance of e-mail marketing for customer loyalty and direct sales years ago and sends a monthly newsletter to registered subscribers based on Inxmail Professional.
In addition to the newsletter, specific e-mail campaigns are carried out After compiling mainly seasonal offers, mailings are sent to those recipients who have a high affinity with the products based on their profile and who have granted their permission for the mailings.
A campaign is created within a very short time The offers are recorded directly in the Inxmail solution with templates and sent at a pre-defined time.
The subscriber receives an appropriately designed, personalised e-mail with offers and an already completed order form. The required number of bottles is entered in the order and the type of delivery selected (see figure). The order is checked by Inxmail and a confirmation is sent by e-mail to the orderer.
Subscribers without HTML rendering automatically receive information with a link which allows the personalised order mail to be opened in a web browser.
The use of targeted e-mailings with an integrated order form has proved to be a great success. In addition to excellent click rates and pleasing turnover, the newly designed format has been very positively received by customers.
Thanks to the solution developed by Unic, Mövenpick Wein is able to implement attractive e-mail campaigns at very short notice and low cost and process orders electronically.
